About Aria Momeni

Aria Momeni holds a Ph.D. in Health Psychology and is a therapist specializing in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) with over 10 years of professional experience.

Dr. Aria Momeni is a university lecturer, author, and translator of psychology books for both psychology professionals and the general public. He has been working as a specialized therapist since 2015. His doctoral dissertation focused on “The Effectiveness of ISTDP on Grief and Psychological Distress in Grieving Individuals Recovered from COVID-19.”

Dr. Momeni’s therapeutic approach is based on the scientific and experience-oriented model of ISTDP, a method that works by identifying psychological barriers and facilitating the healing process through a focus on repressed emotions. He has trained under the individual and group supervision of Dr. Valiollah Ramezani, a prominent specialist in this field, and continues his therapeutic work under scientific supervision.
